“Wig Out” for UNICEF This Halloween: Renowned DJ Lady Bunny to Spin the Fun at Monarch October 31

Saturday, October 31, Hotel ZaZa’s Monarch lounge and restaurant host “Wig Out for UNICEF,” a night of costumed fun, benefitting the United Nations Children’s Fund. From 9 p.m. – 2 a.m., revelers can get down with DJ and diva extraordinaire, Lady Bunny – the outrageous drag queen known throughout the world for her glitzy outfits, sky-high wigs, and false eyelashes longer than Tammy Faye Baker’s.  

Spinning from inside the custom DJ booth in the Monarch lounge, Lady Bunny will kick things up a notch with her hip, hot tunes and juicy party commentary. The comedienne, singer, songwriter and actress is a fixture on the national party scene, and is best known for founding Wigstock, the irrepressible drag and music festival that tickled New Yorkers’ fancy every Labor Day for nearly 20 years. Her magnanimous wigs, no-holds-barred humor and fabulous fashion have earned her celebrity status with a loyal following.
