SPA CONCEPT:
A haven of holistic beauty quietly secluded within Hotel ZaZa Houston, ZaSpa is a sanctuary ready to fulfill every pampering desire. Offering a spa menu brimming with modern treatments and Eastern-inspired rituals for both men and women, ZaSpa features 11,000 square-feet of state-of-the-art spa accommodations and amenities. Facials, massages, hydrotherapies, couples' treatments, body wraps, nail salon, tanning beds and make-up all take place in the spa's eleven, custom-designed treatment rooms. With a professional, accommodating staff at the helm and several treatments available in the privacy of guests' rooms, ZaSpa thrives on making every relaxation wish a reality.

SPA ATMOSPHERE:
Polished marble floors, soft lighting and a neutral color scheme combine for a warm, tranquil ambience. The spa's front desk is flanked by shelves of unique and exclusive spa products and retail items, including products by Ling, Niven Morgan, Barex, SpaRitual, Billy Jealousy, Sonia Dakar and Aromatherapy Associates. A quiet, serpentine corridor, decked with chandeliers and fresh flowers, lead to the locker rooms, both men's and women's elegantly outfitted with spacious changing facilities, fragrant bath accessories, shower and steam room. Candlelight, fresh floral and soft, sensual textures, all against the serene backdrop of a Zen-inspired soundtrack, are the presiding themes throughout ZaSpa's treatment rooms and corridors.

After guests have changed into plush ZaSpa robes provided in the locker rooms, they are directed to the Sanctuary, combination oxygen therapy room and tranquil nook where guests wait for their therapist to lead them to a treatment room. Outfitted with comfortable couches, chairs, flowers and reading materials, it is the perfect spot to pause and relax prior to a treatment. Guests may also use the Sanctuary's oxygen therapy beds to relax and refresh. Outfitted with four, fully-adjustable beds, white linens and soft candlelight, guests are encouraged to recline and unwind. A variety of "flavored air" is available; guests may select their flavor, inhale and enjoy.

Once the spa therapist arrives, guests are led to one of ZaSpa's 11 state-of-the-art treatment rooms, each as unique as the custom services provided. Treatment rooms feature crystal chandeliers and individual iPods for guests' listening pleasure; guests are also welcome to bring their own.

Included in every ZaSpa experience is a full day's use of the Fitness Center and Urban Oasis, Hotel ZaZa Houston's lush patio and pool. Located just outside ZaSpa, the Urban Oasis is a prime spot for poolside relaxation following a treatment or hearty workout. Several ZaSpa treatments, including poolside manicures and pedicures, are available in the Urban Oasis and poolside cabanas. Additionally, tanning beds are available for guests interested in obtaining a sun-kissed glow.

NAIL ROOM:
The Nail Room is ZaSpa's full-service nail salon. Large windows welcome in natural light, while a zebra-patterned rug rests atop a tiled floor. One side of the room is dedicated to indulgent pedicures, with a row of zero-gravity chairs positioned in front of large, copper basins. A cluster of smooth river stones lies at the bottom of each basin, while fresh flowers are placed between each chair. Guests may enjoy the view through the windows, watch the plasma-screen TV or simply tune-out and relax during their treatment.

Manicures take place on the opposite side of the room, with several manicure stations providing everything from the perfect French manicure to full hand and arm massages. Plush chairs with zebra-stripe accents and non-invasive, discreet lighting complete each station. ZaSpa also offers luxuriant poolside manicures and pedicures at the Urban Oasis - perfect as a solo escape or a girls' day out.

MAKE-UP ROOM:
Only the best faces are put forward in ZaSpa's make-up room. An intimate space featuring a mirrored wall, ample lighting and a large assortment of cosmetics, the make-up room is ready to help guests find their perfect look. Enjoy a one-on-one make-up consultation with an esthetician or get a make-up application for a special event. ZaSpa cosmetic artists are also available to make up brides and their bridal parties on the big day, leaving one less item to worry about before saying "I do."

THE BIG CHILL:
ZaSpa guests may relax in The Big Chill, a transition room perfect for soaking up the spa bliss, or hosting small events such as a bridal shower or group spa party. Sip specialty teas and drinks, mix and mingle with friends, or lounge on the luxe furniture and relax - it's the perfect spot for the girls who just wanna have fun! Decorated with Asian inspirations, a crystal chandelier, abundant natural light and comfortable furniture, The Big Chill is the ultimate lounge experience.

SPA CAFÉ:
Steps away from the ZaSpa is the Spa Café, a small eatery conveniently located next door to the Urban Oasis' poolside bar. Open on weekends during warm weather, the Spa Café is Hotel ZaZa's stop for cool drinks and light bites. A menu full of salads, sandwiches, spa cuisine and beverages keep both Urban Oasis and ZaSpa guests satisfied.

HOTEL FITNESS CENTER:
Also located on the second floor next to the ZaSpa, the spacious 1,320 square foot Fitness Center includes state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment and private, cardio-theater televisions on each machine. Overlooking the Urban Oasis in a luxurious atmosphere, the facility offers an inviting and comfortable setting for fitness. The adjacent Hermann Park offers a beautiful backdrop for outdoor walking and jogging.
